Bank Holiday weekend saw the return of the sunshine!! and Panther Enthusiasts were out in force with a display of 22 cars.

Well admired (as usual) by the public & we are always surprised by the fact that so many people don't know about Panthers & haven't heard of them before! Several wishing to purchase & even trying to prise displayed cars away from the current owners!!!

No Chance...

We had a magnificent display with all the mainstream Panthers represented - Several Limas Mk 1 & Mk2, plenty of Kallistas 1.6, 2.8 & 2.9i 's all there, an excellent J72 courtesy of Martin Perrin (we then knew it wasn't going to rain!) Pugwash's Solo was in attendance and a DeVille convertible rounded of the complete stable of Panthers.

Many regulars attended & it was nice to have Colin/Elaine & Mark/Collette camp over the w/e & keep us company.

It was the first rally out for Ivor and Angela Watkins who enjoyed the show & also made up the 'matching pair' of yellow/black limas - a Mk1 & a Mk2.

Thanks to them & everyone else for coming

Great Display..

Lovely weather - 25 degrees.

'Base' camp in background.

We'd intended a 'herringbone' display, but were inundated with Panthers so the rest were 'crammed' in.

'Head to Head'!!! Series 2 on left - Series 1 on right.

Nice to see the Solo on the road.

Bruno was in attendance with various parts & sporting his brand new people carrier.

Hot, Hot, Hot.....

Yes, must look in the engine bay.

Come on John - get the roof down..

Two rarities together.

Can you tell it is my own favourite colour - They represent the first 2 Panthers I owned..

Plenty to do at the show including lots of socialising at 'base'.

That's better John - roof down.

Plot 44 not 44 cars!!

Most members stayed on for a BBQ to enjoy the Sunday evening sunshine.

Three Barbies going flat out!!

Bank holiday Monday an altogether quieter affair.

The 'Monday Bonus' was Tony & Helen arriving with Helen's usual array of home baked 'goodies'.

Altogether an excellent weekend spent in the company of good friends.

Resting getting up the energy to dismantle camp & head off home around 5pm on Monday.

Not quite the same as old 'leo' but the Hilux did a magnificent job carrying all the gear & towing the 'Panther Roadshow Caravan'...
