This year several PECUK members from both the UK, Germany & Holland attended the Panther International Rally organised by Roland & Angelika Klause. This took place at Sittensen over the w/e of the end April beginning May. Those of us travelling from the UK had decided to have a break in the journey & stop around half way.

I would like to thank everyone for the hospitality shown to us, the whole weekend was very well organised & we were very impressed with all the English translations. Full marks to Roland and all his family - 'til the next time....

Here is the bedroom from our hotel stop over on the first night. The staff were very friendly & opened the restaurant just for us.

On arrival we were shown to our own dedicated parking area.

Local Club members Alexander, Gerd & Marion came to join us for dinner. This is Alexander's Kallista.

Gerd, Marion & Alexander arranged to come back for breakfast and were going to lead the convoy in their J72 on its final leg.

We were all introduced to Ferdinand the resident guest Pig, we were assured that she was never destined for the dinner table! She is only three years old but absolutely enormous...

The Hotel had arranged for the local press to come over in the morning so we rearranged the cars, note the lovely sunshine.

Two hours into the trip to Sittensen Gerd guided us in to a pull-in and as a surprise they then set up a table with a white cloth cakes, coffee & sherry along with a big bowl of grapes from Alexander. Thank you

Left to Right - Alec, Gerd, Marion, Clare, Andie, Mary, Roy, Shelagh, Alexander, Pearl, Les, Dave. (Dave & Gill not in picture)

Quite a rare convoy headed by a J72, DeVille & Solo!!!

Arrived & parked at our hotel in Sittensen.

Hotel Schroder

Getting ready for Saturdays drive.

Don't blame us for parking 'nose in', we just followed the others!

Here is Roland & Angelika's car looking very nice after its restoration.

Chaos at the garage when 40+ Panthers pull in!!!

It must be the record for number of Panthers in a filling station at one time.

Here is my sturdy beast (the car!!) Shelagh did a great job in navigating us all there & back without getting lost..

Look out - Level crossing ahead!!

Now that's better..

Neat proper parking this time!
